Along with Hanoi, HCMC and Hoi An, Nha Trang has emerged as a reasonable place to look for art. Though actual galleries are scant, there are several local painters and photographers who display their work on the walls of Nha Trang's resorts, restaurants, cafes and bars.

You can watch the artisans at work at this embroidery workshop and gallery, where intricate embroidery 'paintings' are painstakingly worked by hand.

Also worth checking out are the hand-painted T-shirts done by a friendly local painter named Kim Quang (Tel: 0913-416 513). Quang works every night from his wheelchair at the Nha Trang Sailing Club.
